ChatGPT

Add Mr. Market to ChatGPT as a developer-mode connector and turn it on in a chat.

ChatGPT supports custom MCP connectors in developer mode on the web. Availability depends on your plan, and menu names can differ slightly.

Add the connector#

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.

  2. Choose Create (a new connector). Name it Mr. Market and paste this address:

    https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp

  3. For authentication choose OAuth, confirm you trust the server, and choose Create.

  4. Mr. Market's sign-in opens. Sign in and choose Allow.

Use it in a chat#

Developer-mode connectors are switched on per chat:

  1. In a new chat, open + → More → Developer mode.
  2. Turn on Mr. Market.
  3. Ask, mentioning mr-market the first time.

ChatGPT shows each tool call and may ask you to confirm. Every Mr. Market tool only reads.

ChatGPT doesn't show MCP prompts, so the skills aren't in its menus. Paste a skill's steps from its page into your message, or just ask naturally ("preview Nvidia's earnings").

Disconnect#

Delete the connector in ChatGPT's settings, and disconnect it in Account.
