# ChatGPT

Add Mr. Market to ChatGPT as a developer-mode connector and turn it on in a chat.

ChatGPT supports custom MCP connectors in **developer mode** on the web. Availability depends on your plan, and menu
names can differ slightly.

## Add the connector

1. Open **Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings** and turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Choose **Create** (a new connector). Name it **Mr. Market** and paste this address:

   ```text
   https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp
   ```

3. For authentication choose **OAuth**, confirm you trust the server, and choose **Create**.
4. Mr. Market's sign-in opens. Sign in and choose **Allow**.

## Use it in a chat

Developer-mode connectors are switched on per chat:

1. In a new chat, open **+** → **More** → **Developer mode**.
2. Turn on **Mr. Market**.
3. Ask, mentioning *mr-market* the first time.

ChatGPT shows each tool call and may ask you to confirm. Every Mr. Market tool only reads.

## Disconnect

Delete the connector in ChatGPT's settings, and disconnect it in [Account](https://mrmarket.fyi/account).
