Other apps

Connect Windsurf, Zed, Gemini CLI or any MCP client, and bridge apps that only run local servers.

Mr. Market works with any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in. The steps on this site for Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and VS Code are the tested ones; the configurations below follow each app's documented format.

Server address https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp
Transport Streamable HTTP
Auth OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration
Protected resource metadata https://mrmarket.fyi/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp
Authorization server metadata https://mrmarket.fyi/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server

There are no API keys for members: every app signs in through the browser.

Windsurf#

In ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mr-market": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Zed#

In Zed's settings.json (the root key is context_servers):

{
  "context_servers": {
    "mr-market": {
      "url": "https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Gemini CLI#

gemini mcp add --transport http mr-market https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp

Then run /mcp auth mr-market inside Gemini CLI to sign in.

Apps that only run local servers#

Some apps can only start local (stdio) servers. Bridge them with mcp-remote, which handles the browser sign-in:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mr-market": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote@latest", "https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Use mcp-remote 0.1.16 or later; earlier versions had a security flaw (CVE-2025-6514).

Agent frameworks#

Frameworks such as the OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain or the Vercel AI SDK can connect to https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp as a remote MCP server, but they need an OAuth flow to get a sign-in. Mr. Market doesn't issue API keys to members during the beta, so these are best driven from an app above.
