# Quickstart

Connect your AI assistant to Mr. Market in three steps, then ask your first question.

You need a Mr. Market account that has joined the beta. If you don't have one yet, see
[access and invites](https://docs.mrmarket.fyi/access.md).

## 1. Add Mr. Market to your assistant

Every app takes the same address:

## 2. Sign in and allow

Your app opens a Mr. Market page in the browser. Sign in with the account you use on https://mrmarket.fyi and choose **Allow**.
The page names the app asking for access and where it will send you back.

The app gets its own read-only access for 90 days. You can see and disconnect it in [Account](https://mrmarket.fyi/account).

## 3. Ask

Start a new chat. Mentioning **mr-market** the first time helps the assistant pick the right tools:

If your app asks permission to use a Mr. Market tool, allowing it is safe: every tool only reads.
