What changed in Mr. Market's MCP server and these docs.

## 2026-10-30

- **Skills rebuilt.** Every workflow now says when to use it and when a neighbouring one fits better, walks the exact
  calls with the reason behind each, spells out its computations (growth, mix, multiples, beat rates) with inputs,
  lists the edge cases (banks and insurers, fiscal years, 13F and N-PORT lag, missing lines) and shows the shape of a
  finished answer. Descriptions name the phrasings that should trigger each skill. Skill files are version
  `2026-10-30`; reinstall with `npx skills add https://docs.mrmarket.fyi` to pick them up.
- The server's connect-time instructions route every tool and name the workflows in fewer words.
- `get_growth_quality` history is compact: one value per metric per period, units in the metrics list, a period's
  filings listed once (`sources`, with `sourceOf[metric]`), and status and reason only for metrics without a value.
  Four years of all 31 metrics now fit in one answer.
- Connecting an assistant no longer times out while the research server is busy publishing.
- Connecting is quick even when the research server is slow to answer: the handshake (server info, tool and workflow
  lists) no longer waits on it, so apps with a short connect timeout (Claude Code gives up after 5 seconds) stop
  failing to connect. Every tool call still checks your sign-in live.
- `compare_companies` returns every company you ask for (a three-company comparison could come back with one), with
  shared caveats listed once.
- `search_earnings_calls` returns whole calls and its `nextCursor` continues right after the last call shown.
- A missing earnings call period now says so instead of suggesting the company is unknown.

## 2026-10-29

- **Earnings call transcripts**: `get_earnings_calls` reads saved calls speaker by speaker; `search_earnings_calls`
  searches them across companies.
- **Macro and markets**: `get_macro` (FRED and Treasury series, Treasury auctions) and `get_markets` (quotes,
  economic calendar, dividends, IPOs).
- **Industry boards**: `get_industries` ranks curated themes and SEC industries.
- `get_market_data` adds `price_target` and `long_price_history`.
- **15 workflows** ship as MCP prompts and as installable Agent Skills (`npx skills add https://docs.mrmarket.fyi`).
- The server now sends fuller instructions to every app on connect.
- These docs launch, with every page also available as Markdown and an `llms.txt` index.
- Personal invites: one code per email.

## 2026-10-28

- Sign in with your Mr. Market account from any OAuth-capable app. No keys.
- The server moves to `https://mrmarket.fyi/mcp`.

- The MCP server launches with 20 read-only research tools.
